How is the distance learning version delivered?
The course is delivered fully online through Oakwood Risk Training’s distance learning platform. You will have access to presentations, videos, reading materials, case studies, and assessments that you can complete at your own pace. Yes, learners have access to tutor support throughout their studies, including progress check-ins and feedback on assignments. Tutors are experienced practitioners from security, policing, military, and high risk backgrounds.

How long does it take to complete the course?
The course has approximately 225 hours worth of study. You have up to 12 months to complete the course, but this can be extended if required.

There are no pre-entry requirements for this qualification. However, the course is only provided in English, so learners should have a good understanding of this language (both written and verbal). All assessments must be completed in English.
